All abstracts must be submitted electronically through this website.
All abstracts are subject to acceptance by the Scientific Program Committee in collaboration with IMNE and will be presented orally or as posters during the symposium. All abstracts will also be published in the symposium program and abstract book.
Deadline: Abstracts must be received by September 29, 2006.
If you experience any difficulty with submission, please contact the Organizing Secretariat at abstracthelp@intmedpress.com. Receipt of abstracts will be acknowledged via e-mail within 48 hours. If you do not receive an acknowledgment, you should contact the Organizing Secretariat. Please note that authors/presenters of accepted abstracts are required to register for the symposium.
Format for Abstract Submission
The automated abstract submission system will facilitate the submission of abstracts using the following format. However, if it is necessary to submit an abstract via e-mail, on diskette, or on CD-ROM, please observe the following formatting requirements. Abstracts that do not conform to this format will be rejected.
File format: Microsoft® Word
Language: English
Spacing: Single-line spacing
Font: Arial font, 11-point type
Length: Not to exceed 350 words
Abstract Format
• The abstract title should be listed in bold type at the beginning of the abstract, using initial capital letters for the first word only.
• The presenting author should be listed first and underlined. Affiliations should be listed in the order of the corresponding authors.
• Please list the section titles in ALL CAPS.
• Results and Conclusions must be included. It is not acceptable to state that results will be presented during the symposium.
• Tables, graphs, and references may NOT be used.
• Acknowledgments may be listed after the abstract.
• Generic (not trade) names for drug names should be used and written in full, not
denoted by initials.
• Dosing regimen should be written in full. For example, TID should be written as
3 times daily.
