ACCOMMODATIONS AND TRAVEL INFORMATION
All accommodations must be booked through the Organizing Secretariat. Please book your hotel accommodations by registering online or downloading the registration form available on the registration section of the website and sending it to the organizing secretariat.
The following hotel will serve as the main venue for all symposium functions and as the primary hotel for accommodations:

The Lord Charles Hotel is a deluxe hotel conveniently located 30 minutes from Cape Town and set amidst the breathtaking surroundings of the Cape Winelands. With on-site amenities to accommodate almost any need, hotel guests are also near wine routes, beaches, and golf courses. The Lord Charles Hotel prides itself on its casual elegance and gracious hospitality and invites delegates of the 7th International Symposium on Diabetic Neuropathy to enjoy the majestic surroundings of the Helderberg mountain range while attending the symposium.
Space is limited, so please register early to ensure accommodations at the main symposium venue. Alternative hotels have been selected in the event that The Lord Charles Hotel cannot accommodate all registered delegates. Information for these hotels will be provided upon receipt of registration, if it is not possible to accommodate you in The Lord Charles Hotel.
As a special room rate has been negotiated for the symposium, all reservations must be made via the Organizing Secretariat. Rooms may be reserved for the nights of November 28, 2006-December 1, 2006 on a space-available basis at the following
tax-inclusive rate:
Single occupancy USD $155 per night inclusive of tax and service charge
Double occupancy USD $210 per night inclusive of tax and service charge
If you plan to stay additional nights outside of those identified above, please contact the Organizing Secretariat for room rates and availability.
Registration and Accommodations Cancellations
All cancellations must be made in writing and faxed to the Organizing Secretariat at
+1 404 506 9393, or mailed to the address below. Confirmation of cancellation will be returned in writing within 48 hours.
Registration cancellations made on or before October 2, 2006 will incur a fee of USD $100. From October 3-November 15, cancellations will incur a fee of USD $150. After November 15, 2006, cancellations will forfeit the entire registration fee.
Accommodation cancellations made on or before September 29 will incur a USD $50 fee. After September 30, cancellations will incur a USD $300 fee.
Travel
IMP can assist with all travel needs through its own in-house agency, MTM Travel Services. MTM Travel Services has negotiated special discounts for the 7th International Symposium on Diabetic Neuropathy. Call early to take advantage of these special discounts offered exclusively through MTM Travel Services. All airline ticket prices will include all tax and service fees.

Ground Transportation

Limited complimentary round trip ground transportation is available to conference attendees. Arrival transfers between the Cape Town International Airport and the host venue, The Lord Charles Hotel , and overflow hotels are available on Wednesday, November 29 from 06:00 to 22:00. Departure transfers between the host venue and overflow hotels to the following locations are available on Saturday, December 2 from 06:00 to 18:00: Cape Town International Airport , Cape Town International Convention Centre, The Radisson Hotel, Mount Nelson Hotel , and Arabella Sheraton Grand Hotel.
If your travel times are outside these times, you will be required to make your own ground transfer arrangements. Document Requirements
Delegates are responsible for checking with their local governments concerning entry requirements for South Africa, including visas and required and recommended vaccinations. Please note that the cost of these requirements is also the responsibility of the registered delegates, and IMP will not reimburse these charges.
